Derek is Head of Mobile Innovation for Visa Canada. Derek has over 13 years of mobile experience in both North America and Europe. Prior to returning to Canada in 2002, Derek worked at Agency.com in London England. Derek gained a considerable amount of experience in text, mobile web and location-based mobile innovations for several U.K. clients including, Heineken, Barclays, Channel 4 and Deutsche Bank.
K. Scott Morrison is Senior Vice President and a Distinguished Engineer at CA Technologies. He joined CA as part of its acquisition of Layer 7 Technologies, where he was CTO. Scott was a part of Layer 7 at its inception and led the company to develop the industry’s leading security infrastructure for mobile systems, cloud computing and APIs. An architect and developer of highly scalable, enterprise systems for over 25 years, Scott has deep experience across industry sectors as diverse as health care, travel and transportation, and financial services. He has been a Director of Architecture and Technology at Infowave Software, a leading maker of wireless security and acceleration software for mobile devices, and was a senior architect at IBM. Before moving to the private sector, Scott was a member of the world-renowned medical research program of the University of British Columbia, studying neurodegenerative disorders using medical imaging technology.
Anthony A. Reynolds is the Senior Vice President, Worldwide Mobile Sales & Solutions. In this
capacity, Mr. Reynolds is responsible for representing the go to market and operations of the
Mobile business to drive sales effectiveness, operational processes and new business initiatives.
With more than 20 years of marketing and business leadership experience, Tim Hayden has been a founding member of new ventures (NION Interactive, GamePlan, 44Doors) and a catalyst for innovative change in some of the world’s largest brands (Dell, Bacardi, AMD, ExxonMobil, Hilton Worldwide, Kraft Foods, Edelman, and others). Part social anthropologist, part strategic marketing executive, Tim studies communications behavior and how new media and mobility are reshaping all of business. From operations to marketing and customer service, he assembles technology, adoption and communications initiatives that lead to efficiency and profitability. Tim is also the author of The Mobile Commerce Revolution (Pearson, December 2013).
